Bears imprisoned on brutal Chinese bear farms need your help.
Thousands of endangered Moon Bears are cruelly imprisoned on Chinese bear farms. The bears are kept in ridiculously small cages and farmed for their gall bladder bile, used in traditional Asian medicine. Permanent catheters are installed or abdominal holes are surgically created for the bile to be harvested. The bears suffer brutal lives of confinement and pain, sometimes lasting 20 years or more.
Animals Asia is a nonprofit organization dedicated to freeing as many bile farm bears as possible and closing the farms. The freed bears are well cared for by veterinary professionals and placed in special bear sanctuaries to live out the remainder of their days humanely. Animals Asia has helped free 219 bears so far.
Support Animals Asia in saving these bears and encouraging the Chinese government to ban this horrible practice.

this is so wrong i meen who would wont to harm these great animals. i say shame on china and i think they should change their act. this is not good for the country and i think the killing of moon bears should be band because the next thing youll know is that china have wiped out the moon bear spacies. i feel so so sorry for what the bears must be going through and it just makes me sick and i start to cry when i see pictures and i just fell its my doing to stop the killing of moon bears.

Word. The bears are good. They don’t deserve this. But I guess the root cause is the demand created by traditional Asian medicine. Perhaps a campaign to discredit it is in order. Convince people it causes impotence or genital shrinkage. Barring that, probably best just to support a group like Animals Asia.

i agree with tiggy tiger because moon bears are the most coolest cretures in the world besides the chipmonks, eagles, wolevs,lions, snow leapords and flamingos. any way i am ashamed that not allot of people aren’t tacking action and i thank the people who are, and the people who are, are awesoms! This is sick minded! What they are doing is torture. The bears live in PURE HELL, and should live in freedom, but, what goes around comes around. It will soon happen to them, and they will know what it feels like.

I dont understand how people can be so cruel. This must be stopped. We cant let bears be sitting in cages where they cant move until they die.

Supporting Animals Asia is a good start toward eradicating this horrible practice.

This bugs the hell out of me… Don’t get me wrong i am an avid hunter and fisherman, but what people are doing to animals like these little moon bears is just out right wrong!!! It’s one thing to kill in need to feed your family but to torture these little guys like this makes me want to go over there and start bustin’ these “farmers” skulls!
